Lower is better. Each subject receives an Achievement Level, and the four ALs are added together.
Foundation subjects: Grade A (75–100) is equivalent to AL6, Grade B (30–74) to AL7, and Grade C (below 30) to AL8.
A cut-off point is a reference, not a reservation. Build all six choices around fit, travel, programmes and a sensible score range.

Choice order matters in a tie. Put the genuinely preferred school higher.
